Benitsutsumi: our impressions

Benitsutsumi is known for its moist texture and rich Okinawan beni-imo and Yomitan akane-imo.

Both the beni-imo aroma and the akane-imo aroma come through as you bite in — a lovely sweet.

Break it open and the purple beni-imo and the yellow akane-imo are clearly separated.

The beni-imo aroma is rich enough to reach you the moment you open the bag — highly recommended.
