Bibi Beach Itoman
Bibi Beach Itoman is a clean beach where you can swim safely and with peace of mind.
The swimming area is enclosed by a breakwater and a jellyfish net, so the water stays relatively calm.
The breakwater keeps the waves down, so small children can swim safely.

Nashiro Beach
Nashiro Beach is kept almost like a private beach for Ryukyu Hotel & Resort, and it is very well maintained.
The swimming area is enclosed by a jellyfish net, so everyone from adults to children can swim with peace of mind.
Ryukyu Hotel & Resort next to the beach also has pools, so guests can enjoy both the pools and the sea.

Kita Nashiro Beach
Kita Nashiro Beach is a natural beach where you can barbecue and camp along the shore, which makes it a good pick if that is what you are after.
It is not a managed facility, so it is free to use, and there are restrooms.
There are no changing rooms or showers, so if you want to swim, nearby Nashiro Beach is the better choice.

Shiozaki Beach
Shiozaki Beach is a man-made beach inside Minamihama Park.
Being man-made, it is well kept and clean.
It works less as a place to swim and more as a spot where locals come to relax.

Komesu Coast

Arasaki Coast
There is a bus stop near Arasaki Coast and you can walk in from there, but the footing is poor, so watch your step on the way.
The site where the Himeyuri students died is here, which makes it an important place historically as well.

Kyan Cape
Kyan Cape is a cape in Itoman, in the south of Okinawa’s main island, known as the southernmost cape on the main island (the actual southern tip is Arasaki, about 1.4 km to the east).
A cliff about 30 meters high is its defining feature, and the view of the Arasaki coast from Kyan Cape is spectacular.
The southern area that includes Kyan Cape is designated as Okinawa Senseki Quasi-National Park, and the Tower of Peace, a memorial, stands at the tip of the cape.
