“Teda Ukka” is a spring located in Nanjo City in the south of the main island of Okinawa, and it is said that the sun god has descended, and it is named “Teda (Sun)”.
The legend has it that when the King of Ryukyu visited Kudaka Island, he stopped the boat in front of the “Teda Ukka” fountain and prayed for safety.
It was designated as a historic site in Chinen Village in 1982, and is now designated as a historic site in Nanjo City.
